  • The 38th Annual Valley Visual Arts Show is open today from 9  to 2 at the R2 Gallery in the Launchpad, Carbondale.

  • Basalt Library offers a Genealogy Help Session at 1.

  • The Red Onion hosts Apres Live Music with Damian Smith and Dennis Jung at 4.

  • Lady Bird shows at the Crystal Theater at 5:30. Darkest Hour shows at 7:30.

  • Under Alya’s Umbrella presents Carbondale Salon at the Launchpad at 6:30.

  • Marble Distilling Company presents Comedy Night with Stephen Agyei at 6:30.

  • Aspen Mountain hosts a torch light parade and fireworks starting at 8, interested participants meet at the Little Nell at 7:30.

  • Folk Quintet Birdtalker play at the Wheeler at 7:30.

  • Stephen Agyei performs a second comedy show at 9 at Marble Bar Aspen.

  • The Arts Campus at Willits presents Space Orphan playing at the Temporary at 8.

  • The Belly Up presents Brett Dennen at 8.

  • And Twang Box Live play the Black Nugget at 9.
