  • The Basalt Library hosts Paws to Read and Girls Who Code at 3:30.  
  • The Roaring Fork Youth Orchestra performs for free at the Orchard Gathering Center in Carbondale at 5:30.
  • The Crowlin' Ferlies play the Marble Distillery at 6:30.
  • The Aspen Weekly Writers’ Group meets at the Red Brick Center in Aspen from 7 to 9.
  • The Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz begins at 7:30 at the Grind in Glenwood Springs.
  • And the Crystal Theatre presents Get Out, a comedy-horror film, at 7:30.

Looking ahead…

  • Early registration for the 5th Annual Energy and Environment Symposium in Rifle begins tomorrow.
  • ACES and the City of Aspen host a community Earth Day celebration and Green Drinks Season Kick-off on Wednesday from 5 to 7 at Hallam Lake in Aspen.
  • KDNK hosts a monthly DJ training on Thursday at 5:30. Email Luke at kdnk dot org or call us at 963.0139 to reserve your spot.
  • And on Saturday marches will be held in honor of protecting our planet. The Alice March for Science meets at 10am in the parking-lot of the Goat Restaurant in Carbondale, and Protect Our Winters meets at noon at Paepke Park in Aspen and another March for Science meets at Paepke Park at 1.
