  • Alcoholics Anonymous meets at noon and 7:15 PM at the Meeting Place, 981 Cowen Drive in Carbondale and at 6:30 PM at the Orchard on Snowmass Drive. A Spanish-speaking group meets at 7:30 PM at 530 Highway 133. Alanon meets tonight at 7 in Glenwood at the Methodist Church.
  • The Basalt Library hosts a Citizens Test Prep today at 4:30.
  • Anderson Ranch hosts an art presentation by the spring artists-in-residence at 5:30.
  • Lisa Bracken teaches how to recognize common Western Slope birds and attract them to your backyard tonight at 6 at the Silt Library.
  • Glenwood Springs High School hosts David Riley, National Commander of Disabled American Veterans, at 6 PM. Riley is the first quadruple amputee veteran to become the National Commander of DAV. Admission is free.
  • Author and explorer Craig Childs comes to Carbondale for one night only at the CRMS Barn at 7:30. The event is free and open to the public.
  • Josefina Mendez plays the Little Nell at 7:30.

  • Valley View’s Community Health Fair lands at Roaring Fork High School in Carbondale this Saturday April 1 from 7 to 11AM.
  • And the Andy Zanca Youth Empowerment Program’s fundraiser, the Let it Be Spelling Bee, is coming up at the Roaring Fork Beer Company, Wednesday April 5.
