The commission investigating President Trump's claims of widespread voter fraud is on hold, for now. KDNK’s Raleigh Burleigh reached out to Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams for comment on the notification to hold off on submitting voter data which Williams relayed via twitter. The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity suspended the collection of voter data in response to a lawsuit filed by the Electronic Privacy Information Center.

KDNK's Raleigh Burleigh attended the Colorado County Clerks Association Summer Conference to learn more about the efforts made to maintain the legitimacy of our democratic processes. He spoke with Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams and David Becker, author of the 2012 Pew report that President Trump has repeatedly cited to suggest "massive voter fraud" in the United States. The overall emphasis was reassuring the public that county clerks work year-round to assure the integrity of Colorado's voting systems.
