Two weeks ago, the Carbondale board of trustees approved a medical marijuana license for Green Miracle Medicinals with a vote of 4 to 3. There was much discussion then as there was at last night's meeting about the town's medical marijuana ordinance and what some trustees see as shortcomings of it's regulations.

Last night, trustees voted 4 to 2 in favor of vacating their decision and revoking their approval of Green Miracle's license. The dispensary will be allowed to operate as the board goes through the process of setting up a new public hearing at which they will vote again to approve or deny Green Miracle's license.

Trustee John Foulkrod made the motion to revoke the board's approval and after the meeting, he told KDNK's Eric Skalac that he thinks the town needs to have a discussion about problem areas in the town's marijuana ordinance.
