Bidder 70: Filmmakers George and Beth Gage on the case of Tim DeChristopher

July 31, 2012
In 2008, Tim DeChristopher rose to prominence among environmentalists and protesters when he ingeniously scuttled a BLM gas leasing auction of scenic lands surrounding Utah National Parks. The story of his impromptu civil disobedience is told in the new documentary film "Bidder 70" by Telluride filmmakers George and Beth Gage. Today on NRG with MG, the couple tells KDNK's Marilyn Gleason how his commitment to stopping climate change guided Tim DeChristopher to take action that led to fame and jail time.
