The White River National Forest released a draft environmental analysis this week for a proposed plan to manage overnight visitors to the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness. The Forest Service hopes to reduce resource damage to certain popular sites that District Ranger Karen Schroyer says comes from a lack of backcountry education and guidance.
