  • The Red Brick Arts Center hosts an art opening for Confluence, the annual Resident Artist Exhibit, in Aspen at 5.

  • Basalt Library hosts chamber music at 5:15.

  • The Ann Korologos Gallery in Basalt hosts an opening reception for Dan Young’s Valleys to Peaks at 5.

  • The Launchpad hosts an art talk and slideshow with artists from the current exhibit at 5:30.

  • The Glenwood Springs City Council meets at 6 at City Hall. Discussion of the Glenwood Springs Arts Center contract is no longer on the agenda.

  • Gubernatorial Candidate Jared Polis hosts a meet and greet at Maker and Place in Aspen at 6:30.

  • Annie Get Your Gun premieres at the Third Street Center at 7.

  • The Big Sick shows at the Crystal Theatre at 7:30.

  • The Carbondale Wild West Rodeo begins at 7:30.

  • The Garfield County Fair hosts the ProRodeo tonight. Events begin at 7. Tickets are available here.

  • And Steve Earle and the Dukes with The Mastersons perform at Belly Up Aspen at 8:30.
