  • Violinst Robert McDuffie closes out the Aspen Music Festival’s Winter Music Recital Series with a performance at Harris Concert Hall in Aspen at 6:30.

  • Theatre Aspen’s annual Costume Gala fundraiser is back at the Hotel Jerome at 6:30.

  • Marble Distilling hosts Comedy Night at 7 with standup Brent Gill in town from Denver.

  • Thunder River Theatre Company in Carbondale presents Shakespeare’s The Tempest at 7:30.

  • LP Herd play Heather’s in Basalt at 7:30.

  • Josefina Mendez plays Brazilian Jazz at The Little Nell in Aspen at 7:30.

  • Smokin Joe and Zoe play a second gig tonight at the St. Regis in Aspen at 9.

  • Green is the New Black Fashion Show is sold out but a trunk sale begins at the Carbondale Rec Center right after the show tonight.

Looking ahead…

  • Tune in Sunday from 5 to 6 PM for KDNK’s Journalist Roundtable. Brent Gardner-Smith of Aspen Journalism, Sopris Sun editor Will Grandbois and Post Independent features editor Carla Jean Whitley join Gavin Dahl and Amy Hadden Marsh for a talk about local issues.

  • Please note KDNK’s cross-country ski event with Mt. Sopris Nordic Council has been canceled.

  • But mark your calendars for Thursday March 23rd. KDNK is throwing a Thank You Event for Members and Volunteers once we wrap up the membership drive at Roaring Fork Beer Company from 5 to 8pm with live music from local favorites Frank Martin and Pearl & Wood.
