  • Visit copubliclandsday.com for a list of events occurring throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and across the state, including service work, special beers, concerts, and organized hikes.

  • The Colorado Farm & Food Alliance, the Learning Council, and Solar Energy International host the West Slope Solar Fair and Permaculture Expo from noon to 8 at the Solar Energy International campus in Paonia.

  • C.A.R.E., the Rifle Animal Shelter, and Eagle County Animal Services host an adopt-a-thon at the Subaru Dealership in West Glenwood Springs until 2pm, with adoption fees waived by the dealership.

  • Carbondale Animal Hospital celebrates its new location at 289 Main St from 2 to 6 with food and drinks.  

  • The Lost City of Z shows at the Crystal Theatre at 4:45 followed by Their Finest at 7:30.

  • Roberta Lewis and our very own Steve Cole perform at Heathers in Basalt at 7.

  • The Wheeler Opera House in Aspen offers an encore showing of select films from the 5 Point Film Festival at 7.

  • Roaring Fork Beer Company hosts a bike week kick-off party at the Dolores Way tasting room at 7.

  • Mountain View Chamber Choir performs a concert at the First United Methodist Church in Glenwood Springs at 7.

  • Solpride performs at Grove’s Black Dog Saloon in New Castle at 7:30.

  • 4AM plays at the Black Nugget in Carbondale at 9pm.

  • And Policulture takes the stage at Belly Up Aspen at 10.

  • The Colorado Rocky Mountain School annual plant sale continues tomorrow, Sunday, from 1 to 3.
