If you're headed to Paonia from the Roaring Fork Valley, you'll have to take the long way around. Highway 133 is closed in both directions between the McClure Pass summit and Paonia Reservoir, near MM 29.5, due to a rockslide. The Colorado Department of Transportation reports that the closure is indefinite but crews are on-site. The alternate routes are I-70 and US 50.
