Each Spring, Roaring Fork Valley resident and artist Fred “Lightnin’ Heart” Haberlein travels to Old Pascua in Tucson, Arizona for the Yaqui Spring Ceremonies. This year, KDNK celebrates Fred’s 47th journey to the ceremonies this year with an excerpt from Will Evan's Shifting Gears interview from last Spring. The word yahete means "from my heart" and is used both as a greeting and to say "goodbye." For more information about Yaqui traditions, click here.
