Mark your calendar for December 2nd because KDNK’s annual Labor of Love auction and Holiday Bizarre Bazaar is coming to the Village Smithy on Main Street in downtown Carbondale for December’s First Friday. We need more items for the auction, which already includes passes from Aspen Ski Co, tickets for the Avalanche, a Les Paul guitar, artwork, massages and more. The New Castle Gardens Pumpkin Patch on Peach Valley Road is open from 10AM to 4:30 with the Pumpkin-ator, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin basketball and hillbilly golf.
The pumpkin patch at Osage Gardens, on River Frontage Road between New Castle and Silt, is open from 11AM to 6PM. Kids activities include a hay maze and hay mountain.
