Luis Yllanes was appointed to his current seat on the Carbondale Board of Town Trustees in September, 2017, upon the resignation of Katrina Byars. Now, Yllanes is campaigning for a full term in this year’s election. He spoke with KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh about why he wants to keep his seat.
