In this writing and discussion workshop we will explore how, with the mindful use of everyday language, simple word shifts can alter our perspective. "I believe the power of the words I use internally with myself and outwardly with others helps shape my daily reality. When I choose deliberately and consciously, I can move from being a victim of circumstance, to being an engaged creator of my life. By addressing self-limiting beliefs, I can embrace my personal power." We'll play with ways we can change how we relate to the world.
This workshop will be led by Atis, a certified peer support specialist with Mindsprings and the PACT team in Aspen. He has dealt with personal mental health difficulties and now utilizes his lived experience as well as trainings to help others going through their own challenges. Atis developed the ever-evolving Power of Perspective workshop as a tool to better deal with the frustrations of life while cultivating self-awareness. It is a tool he uses himself and is excited to share it with a constantly growing group of participants.
Please join us with an open mind, your sense of humor and creative spirit, for a fun evening of co-creation, introspection, and connection. All writing levels and styles are welcome!!
